The off-grid power system includes:
– Solar panels mounted on the roof
– 48-volt electrical system
– Eight 6-volt batteries stored in an enclosed exterior workbench box
– Batteries are four years old with an estimated ten-year lifespan
– Wind turbine included for additional power if the new owner chooses to use it

Water heating is handled by an on-demand propane hot water heater, allowing efficient use of energy while still providing full hot water for the shower and sink.

The bathroom currently uses a composting toilet, which fits the off-grid design of the home. For buyers who prefer a flushing toilet, water access from the sink next to the toilet area makes it possible for a plumber to install one if desired.

“This space was built with a lot of intention and personal care, originally designed as an overflow living area for our family when our daughter was born. My wife and I have lived a minimalist, off-grid lifestyle for over 12 years, and this home was created to mirror the tiny house on wheels that we live in ourselves.
The design reflects the way we believe a small space should function: simple, efficient, and capable of operating independently. For the first years of our daughter’s life, this space allowed us to stay close to her while still maintaining our own sleeping loft. It’s a home that holds meaning for us, and I’m looking for someone who will appreciate the lifestyle it was designed for.”

The house is four years old and fully set up for off-grid living with a solar power system, propane hot water, and thoughtful storage throughout. It can be placed anywhere with good southern exposure and a flat surface such as concrete or asphalt. The structure moves like a standard shipping container and was originally transported from Missouri to California on a flatbed truck.
